Solo exhibition at Grey Gallery in Canada
My first solo exhibition at Grey gallery in Canada.
During 2019 summer, I had a solo show at grey gallery. This solo show is entitled Eastern x Western / Tradition + Surrealism and it is evident even on a briet glance that the pieces very greatly in subject matter, medium and technique.
I work on canvas, paper, wood, silk, glass and leather, and incorporates Chinese ink, natural pigments, coloured pencil, and metallic leaf, in addition to oil, acrylic and watercolour. I plays with both eastern and western approaches to art and all the pieces have a humorous or whimsical edge to them.
